Here is a tutorial that will help you create a new hosting account in WHM and will help you find a pre-defined package to help you speed up the process:
1. This tutorial will help you to create a new hosting account in WHM.
2. First, you have to log in to WHM and this demo assumes that you’ve already done that. Now, to create a new hosting account click the Accounts functions link that has an icon on top of it.
3. Then click the Create a New Account link.
4. A new screen will appear. This is the part wherein you can create a new hosting account in real time; this is the heart of WHM. You can set limits also which will help you to define how many resources your account has access to.
5. Enter a domain name that you will use to identify your account.
6. Now create a password for your domain which you can edit after you’ve created your account.
7. Scroll down
8. You can go ahead and fill out the other options that will define your account or you can choose a pre-defined package that will fill in those options for you. Click the drop down parallel to Package.
9. Choose the abc123c_bronze package. You can now see that the options are filled in already.
10. Even if they already pre-defined, you can still edit them. For example, change the value for the Max SQL Databases.
11. Scroll down.
12. Click Create. That’s it; you already have a new hosting account with a new cPanel control panel setup for it. Now, send this information to the person who will use the account. They need to know the username, password, IP address and the nameservers.
13. Click the List Accounts link. You’ll see the new account that you’ve created in the list.
14. This is the end of the demo.
15. Thank you for watching the video tutorial about creating a new hosting account in WHM.
