WebHost Manager serves as your main control center for your WHM package/cPanel. It lets you monitor services, bandwidth, accounts and almost all aspects of your web hosting processes.
The video tutorial & demo below will help you understand and navigate WHM. Just follow these steps:
1. Becoming familiar with, and navigating around WHM.
2. Log in to WHM. WHM is your resellers control panel. The purpose of WHM is to give resellers the control they need to create, delete, suspend and upgrade hosting. It also has several other tools to help manage the accounts. Every hosting account created in WHM has its own cPanel, an end user control panel. On this center frame, there are several icons we can click on. These correspond to headings on the left frame of the main WHM page. Clicking on an icon will bring up sub-icons that correspond to all the tools available on the left. Click the Account Information button.
3. There are five available tools that can be used under Account Information. To access any of these tools, you can click on the corresponding icon in this frame. You can also click the link here in this menu frame. You could have also done this from the WHM home page.
4. Scroll down on the left frame to see all the available tools in WHM.
5. As you can see, there are dozens of tools available to you in WHM.
6. Scroll back up. The News link on the center frame is where you would get news from your reseller plan provider, if they use this feature in WHM. Click the News link.
7. As you can see, there is no news displayed. Click the Change Log link.
8. The Change Log page shows detailed information of your version of WHM and historical information about when it was updated and what changes were made. To log out of WHM, simply close your browser or click the Logout link.
9. This is the end of the demo. You should now be much more familiar with WHM and how to navigate its pages. For more information on how to perform specific tasks, please refer to our other demos.
