With the Power Panel you will be able to easily manage your VPS and monitor the different processes that virtualization involves. You can even create backups of your Virtual Private Servers in this software.
Here is how you can back-up and restore your VPS using in Power Panel:
1. You should log in first into your Virtuozzo Power Panel.
2. Then click the Maintenance Link at the VPS Management Menu at the side of the window.
3. You will then be directed to the Maintenance Page where you can manage your VPS back-ups. You can create, delete, or manage your back-ups in this page.
4. To create a new back-up of your VPS click the New Back-up button.
5. Then click the OK button at the confirmation window.
6. As you can see, the VPS is currently backing-up as indicated by the “VPS is backing-up at the moment” at the top of the window.
7. After the VPS has backed-up, you will then be able to see the new back-up listed at the Backed-Up List at the bottom of the window.
8. To restore your VPS from a back-up, you can select it by clicking the small square box beside the desired back-up.
9. Then click the restore VPS Button.
10. Another way you can do so, is by clicking the chosen back-up link.
11. You can see further details about the back-up at the next page. To restore the VPS from a chosen back-up, click the Restore VPS button.
12. Then click the Restore button on the Confirmation page.
13. Virtuozzo will now be restoring the VPS from the back-up as indicated by the “VPS is restoring at moment” at the top of the page.
14. If you are using an IP address of your VPS to connect it then you may have to reconnect the IP address retrieved from the back-up after it is restored with the VPS.
15. To delete a back-up that you have previously created, click the small square box beside the chosen back-up.
16. Scroll the window to the right.
17. Then click the Remove Back-ups Button and confirm the deletion. You have now finished deleting a previously created back-up.
18. To return to the main page, click the Top link at the top of the page. If you are finished using the Power Panel then remember to sign out by clicking the Sign Out link at the Other Menu at the side of the window.
