How to Create Additional FTP accounts in cPanel

FTP accounts allow the user to access the website’s files through a protocol called FTP. You will need a third party FTP program to access your files. The FTP account makes a folder on the public_html of the site which enables external users who know the password of the account to upload and/or download files from the same location. If the account is not used properly, change the password. Remember that the user should know that external users with the right password will be able to access the account. They will be able to edit, add and remove files from the specified directory of the FTP account, and to any directories within the confirmed directory.
