The Demo Mode for the accounts in WHM is made possible for sales purposes but you can change it by disabling and enabling the demo mode in WHM.
Here is the tutorial that will help you to change by enabling or disabling the demo mode for your account:
1. This is a tutorial on how to disable or enable demo mode in Web Host Manager or WHM.
2. First, you have to log in to WHM because this demo assumes that you’ve already logged in. You have the ability to turn any account in your WHM into a demo account; this is usually used as a sales tool wherein it attracts customers to browse through cPanel but is restricted to open and access certain parts.
3. Click the Accounts Functions link.
4. Click the Disable or Enable Demo Mode link.
5. Select newdomain.com as the account that will be used as an example to convert into a demo account.
6. Scroll down.
7. Click Modify. You will see a new screen wherein you’ll find whether or not the demo mode is disabled or enabled. In this case, it is disabled.
8. Click the Enable button. That’s it; the demo mode using the account newdomain.com has been enabled. So, when a user logs in using this account there are certain functions that will be disabled.
9. Click the Disable or Enable Demo Mode link.
10. Select newdomain.com account again.
11. Scroll down.
12. Click Modify.
13. Now you will see that the demo mode for the account “newdomain.com” is enabled. Now click the Disable button.
14. Now the demo mode has been turned off and so all of the functions can be accessed again.
15. This is the end of the tutorial on how to disable and enable demo mode. Thank you for watching.
