It is very important to update your contact details because your contact information is being used by the server to send you vital messages and for other things that concerns your account. In cPanel, there is a feature in which you can easily keep your contact information up to date.

Learn how to do it by following these steps:

1. You must be logged in to cPanel.

2. In your home page, you can see the Update Contact Info icon, click it.

3. After clicking the icon, the Contact Information and Preferences page will appear.

4. In the first field, type-in your contact email address then click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

5. The contact information and preferences page will change, showing you that it has been updated and your new contact details have been saved. Click the Home Button in the upper left corner.
