URL Redirection is used to make your web page available or accessible to other people through several domains. But it can also be used for a slew of other reasons. The first if which would be for redirecting your visitors to your new web page in the event that you changed it and did not bother making a prior announcement. Another would be for moving your current page to a new one. Last but not the least, it can also be used when merging two different websites together.

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Scroll down and click the Redirects icon in the Domains section.
3. There are two options when redirecting URL. These are the temporary and the permanent redirects. Select if you want a temporary or permanent redirect.
4. Fill in the box the URL that you wish to redirect.
5. Then enter the Destination URL where you want other people to be directed to.
6. Click the Add button.
7. You have successfully created a URL Redirect. Click the Go Back link.
