In this tutorial, you will learn how to track your Virtual Private Server (VPS) resources using Power Panel. This way, you can easily address any potential problems or errors that may arise from system overloads and you can easily manage your VPS resources.
The following steps and video tutorial will show you how to monitor your VPS resources in power panel:
1. Log in to your Virtuozzo Power Panel.
2. To monitor your VPS resources, go to the left side menu of the page. Under the VPS Management section, you will find the “Resources” link. Click on this.
3. You will be directed to the Resources page, where you can see how much of your hardware resources are being used by your VPS.
4. Scroll down to see details of the usage. Here, you can view your CPU Usage. If it says 0.0%, it means the CPU is idle. If it says 1.0%, then it is being fully utilized. However, if the number is greater than 1%, it means that the CPU is overloaded.
5. You can also view your System Usage. This figure represents the average consumption of critical memory-related parameters by your VPS.
6. The Disk Usage shows you how much of the space is allocated to and used up by the VPS.
7. To see more details regarding your CPU Usage, System Usage, and Disk Usage, click on the “Extended” button. These details will show you which resources are nearest to their maximum.
8. You can also choose to collapse any of the tables by clicking on the double caret next to the specific resource or parameters. To expand, just click on the space spot again.
9. To return to the main screen, click on the “Top” link.
