How to Use File Manager in Helm

Through the use of File Manager, each user is allowed to perform several things in the file management processes. It includes the creation, renaming, moving, removing, and copying of files. How to Use File Manager in Helm

1. Log in to the Helm control Panel.

2. You can now start to learn how to use File Manager in Helm to manage the files and folders.

3. Select the My Domains icon in the control panel interface.

4. Select demo789.net domain. The File Manager will be used in this domain.

5. Scroll Down. Select the File Manager icon.

6. You can now see the File Manager page. In this page, you can rename, edit, delete files, and create new folder and other functions.

7. All the website files and folders are located in the wwwroot directory. Click the said directory name.

8. You can now see all the files and folders located in that directory.

9. To create a new folder, click the New Folder icon.

10. The new folder has been successfully made and can be seen in the list of the folders.

11. To rename the folder that you have created, click that folder.

12. Then, provide a new name for the folder.

13. Highlight the folder if you want to delete it.

14. Then, click the Delete button located in the upper portion of the page.

15. In the next page, click the OK button to confirm deletion. The folder has been successfully removed.

16. To edit a file in the File manager, click the postinfo.html file. Then, click the Edit button located at the upper portion of the page.

17. You have two options on how to edit the file easily. First, you can use the tools provided. Second, you can directly edit the file’s HTML code by clicking the HTML link.

18. Click the Save button when finished all the necessary changes you have done in this window.

19. There are other tools available in the File Manager. These include the File/Folder Delete, Create a New File, Move Selected Files/Folders and Copy Selected Files/Folders.

20. Click the Home button located at the upper left corner of the page to return to the Home page.
